Cracked it!

I've been working on something at work for just over a week and I'd almost given up on it. It was really important because it would have cost us nearly £5000 to get someone in to do it for us. Anyway, I cracked it yesterday!
It made me think how hard it must have been for sysadmins in yesteryear. In the end I found a document that a guy in Australia had written and posted on the internet which was instrumental in solving my problem. I can't imagine that I could have solved it without his help and before the internet came along I wouldn't have had access to his document :-)

Worky work work

Had to rush down to Basingstoke Tuesday evening and do some urgent work on Wednesday. The good news is that it all went pretty much to plan without any major hassle or hiccups.
I'm squashing tonight with Russ and possibly meeting up with Simon for a pint later which will be good as I havent seen him since before Cerys was born.
We're away to a hotel this weekend while mum looks after the kids which is smooooooooth with a capital smoo. Will very much enjoy getting away :-)
