Quick post

Just a quick post. Not been doing much recently so not much to post about other than to say that the house might be going all wrong again but I won't bother with the details.
Also, watched "Taking Lives" last night. It was ok I suppose. Kept me entertained for a couple of hours but isn't anything to write home about.

Matrixy

Well I always said I was waiting for the Matrix trilogy dvd set before I bought any of the movies.
And finally it has arrived.
December 6th 2004 sees the arrival of the TEN disc set. TEN. Let me just say it again. TEN.
It has to be said in capitals.

Disc 1. The Matrix.
Disc 2. The Matrix Revisited.
Disc 3. The Matrix Reloaded.
Disc 4. The Matrix Reloaded Revisited.
Disc 5. The Matrix Revolutions.
Disc 6. The Matrix Revolutions Revisited.
Disc 7. The Animatrix.
Disc 8. The Roots of the Matrix.
Disc 9. The Burly Man Chronicles.
Disc 10. The Zion Archive.

Yeah baby.

Today is Monday so there

Wahey! I passed my exam on Friday. Pass mark 75%. My score 76%.
Jonathan sadly only got 72% which must have been highly annoying although not quite as annoying as Tim's 74% on Thursday.
Anyway, Friday night Russ came over and we created our Vampire the Masquerade characters and then played Risk with Laura. I'm very happy to say that The Brendan Empire reigned victorious ;-)
Saturday I had a lie-in until 12.30 which was sweet. Many thanks to Laura for leaving me to it.
We headed over to Makro to get dad some Rio and then went over to Sale. Then that evening me and Russ went over to Olly's house to play Vampire the Masquerade. It was pretty cool but I got the distinct impression (and Russ has backed me up on this) that Olly was partially making the rules up as he went along but it was still pretty good since VtM is more about roleplaying than combat.
So Sunday we went to the carboot sale in Altrincham where Laura picked up some clothes for Anya and bought me another shot glass set. I bought Kieran a book by Chris Ryan as I know he is reading one at the moment.
After that I dropped Laura at Jon's house (she was staying the night there) and went back over to Warrington. I rented a couple of dvds from the local shop for 99p each which is really cheap. They would have cost me £3.99 each in Blockbuster. I got the (new) Italian Job and School of Rock. Both were ok and kept me entertained for the afternoon.
Later on Russ came over and we played a game of Warhammer Quest. We have played it a few times now and failed to get through the first dungeon. Apparently it is stupidly hard to get through the first dungeon and once you are through it becomes really easy to do any further dungeons. Then we got a takeaway and watched Antitrust which I think is a pretty cool film.
Sorry if my blog seems a little "only the facts" today but for some reason I'm not writing like my usual self.
