New house
We finally moved house on Monday night.
First of all let me say a big thankyou to my Mum and Dad, my brothers, Russ, Badger and Paul. All of them helped us move on Monday night and we would have had a much worse night without them.
Monday night itself was a bit of a nightmare. Fortunately it probably wasnt as much of a nightmare as we had thought it would be but it was still pretty bad. My mum was really ill on Monday night and I was feeling rough all evening. Fortunately I managed to hold it off until we had finished and almost as soon as everyone had left I was hurling my guts up. I got no sleep because my stomach was in pain and I was sick again during the night.
Tuesday was a pretty awful day. I took the day off since I was still feeling ill but Anya cried almost all day. She is going through a really bad phase at the moment where she will cry if Laura isnt holding her. Laura was trying to tidy our pit of a house and everytime she left Anya she cried. It was a nightmare. Reece came home at lunch and Anya just happened to be asleep so we got quite a bit done then. The living room, kitchen and the bedrooms are almost livable now. The dining room is full. You literally cant get into the dining room.
So there you have it. Thats what I've been up to over the last couple of days. Laura is working tonight so I've got my fingers crossed that Anya will behave until she goes to bed. Time will tell...

You're right the whole move for you, Laura and Reece has been a nightmare and I think that Anya is probably just very unsettled. Unfortunately, we can't easily measure how much change can upset babies. She'll soon settle down again once things get straighter, but of course that will take time. To my mind, the wonderful thing throughout all of this move has been the support and closeness that has been shown from all of the family (even the closeness to be able to kick off at one another and still be OK) - I am so proud of you all, my sons and my daughters.
All my love, Mum
