Happy Birthday Reece

Indeed.
It's November the first which means that it's Reece's birthday.
It's not going to be a great day for him I suspect because he is off to a funeral but he has had a pretty good weekend including a night out on friday, a big family meal on saturday and a meal with Vicky's family on sunday.
So anyway, bloggage:
Friday night we went out for Reece's birthday. We started off in the met in sale which was filled with kids but we only stayed there for one or two and then went off into town. Reece had passes for Brannigans which included £5 of free drinks each (BONUS!) so we went there first. It was pretty cool but drinks were quite expensive so we took our free drinks and moved on. After that we went to Jumpin' Jaks which was pretty cool. Drinks were possibly a little expensive (£11 for a 3 drink round...) but with all the free drinks at Brannigans we didnt buy many more anyway.
All in all it was a wicked night. My faith has been restored in a night out clubbing. I think maybe the combination of people you are with can decide whether you have a good night or not.
Saturday was a fairly laid back day. We were all hung over from the night before so we didn't do much. I went into Manchester and bought Reece's birthday present which I suppose I can name here now - ZOMBIES!!! I've heard quite a lot of good stuff about ZOMBIES!!! and Reece likes Resident Evil which is pretty much all about zombies.
I was pretty impressed by the fact that I could easily drive into Manchester, park 1 minutes walk away from Fanboy3 (the shop I went to) and not have to pay a fortune for the parking priviledge. I was also pretty impressed by the new Fanboy3 shop. They have play tables in the store so you can go down and play anything you want. They also have demos and tournaments as well and if you run a demo or gm a roleplay session then you get money off when you buy. Pretty cool.
So saturday night we had a big family meal for Reece's birthday. There was me, laura, reece, vicky, kieran, sophie, mum, dad, vickys mum and dad and vickys sister. We got a huge chinese banquet thing (although I got an indian because I dont like chinese) and it was a great night. Vickys mum and dad bought Reece this new game which was great as a party game.
Sunday I literally did nothing. Everyone went out so I tidied up Kierans bedroom (which me and Laura are living in at the moment), did a little washing and then did nothing. It was everything I ever thought it could be (to quote Office Space - if you havent watched it then watch it, its really funny). Sunday night we rented Eurotrip which was ok. A few laughs but it was nothing compared to Roadtrip.

So that brings me up to date.
You've probably noticed the lack of updates recently - there have been some problems publishing my blog which have been resolved now so we should be back on track.
