Christopher Reeve

I'm sure everyone has heard by now but I wanted to say something here anyway.
Christopher Reeve died a couple of days ago. For anyone who doesn't know, Christopher Reeve was Superman in the films and broke his spine a while ago while horse riding. Ever since then he was a huge campaigner for spinal injuries and firmly believed that one day he would walk again.
Anyway, just wanted to post something about him. Superman was really the first ever film based on a comic book (certainly that I can think of) and today some of the best films nowadays are based on comic books. In addition, the new series Smallville is excellent and no doubt the superman franchise will live on for a long time.
I remember watching superman as a kid with my dad and when you have kids, you should sit down and watch superman with them - I know I will be doing as soon as mine is old enough ;-)
