Busy busy busy.

That's why I haven't posted in a while.
So last time in my wacky adventures I had just found out that we had to move house. Last thursday we hired a van and moved the majority of our stuff over to Sale and we are currently cluttering up my mum and dad's house, laura's mum's house and laura's grandparent's house.
Big thankyou to my mum who drove the van for us all day up and down that motorway (which I hate driving up and down).
Then Friday after work I went to Waterbowl for the first game of the new season. I lost 2-1. I rolled awfully which is really annoying - it's one thing to be beaten by a better player but when you have countless oppertunities to score and the dice rolls stop you every time it gets a bit frustrating. After that I went out to the pub with George to have some birthday drinks with her (although George doesn't drink). We just chatted all night which was pretty cool - we haven't really spoken in years so it was good to catch up.
Saturday me and Laura headed over to Manchester and spent the afternoon chilling in the pub before going to the theatre in the evening. We saw Jesus Christ Superstar which was quite good. I'm not a big fan of the theatre but Laura really loves it so it was a nice evening.
Then Sunday me and Laura went to the cinema while Laura's mum looked after Anya. It's the first time she's looked after Anya and given her track record I was a little concerned but it was all ok in the end. We saw Man on Fire at the cinema which was quite good but a dragged on a bit at the beginning (for about an hour). After that Laura went to her mum's for tea and I went back to my mum and dad's house then eventually we went back home.
Monday was the first day of what is turning into a really bad week at work. I can't go into too much detail simply because if anyone from work reads this then I might get in trouble but sometimes I just wish we could be left alone to get on with our work instead of being hassled.
Anyway, Monday night me, Reece and Paul went to the cinema and watched Resident Evil: Apocalypse which was pretty good. Probably not as good as the first one but still worth seeing.
Tuesday was the second day of a bad week at work (although it must be said that I am writing this on wednesday and although this morning was looking bad, nothing too bad has happened yet - fingers crossed). After work I headed into Manchester for the second week of Waterbowl. Russ was coming into Manchester to join us but he got stuck in traffic and he wouldn't have got a game so I texted him and he went home again. Many apologies to Russ for the wasted journey. I managed to pull a 0-0 draw out of my awful game. I should have scored about three times but once again I was defeated by the dice rolls. I'm really starting to reconsider playing in the league. I'm not really enjoying the game anymore because of the whole luck factor. I wouldn't mind if I had average luck but at the moment I'm just rolling really badly every game which results in me not enjoying myself and I don't know if I want to stick it out and see if my luck will change. The problem is that the more games I dont win, the worse my position is in the league. I suppose the main problem is my lack of enjoyment of the game rather than the league itself and it's whether I want to spend an evening a week not really enjoying myself. I haven't really clicked with the group and although I chat with them a bit I dont think we will ever really become good friends so there is no incentive there and also I have noticed these last two weeks that the number of people turning up has gone down to about half which is not good. Ah well, I might give it another week or two and see how I feel then.
Anyway, I came home to find dad, reece and kieran had come round which was a nice surprise although everyone was shattered and we all nearly fell asleep watching a film (by the way dont watch featdotcom - it's pretty awful. it's only saving grace is that it is fairly short).
And then we come to today. Not much has happened yet so I think I'll sign off now.
Oh yeah, I should be seeing Badger on Friday which will be nice since I haven't seen him in a while.

I am kind of bored with Blood Bowl at the moment as i always loose when playing with mates in Norwich, no kidding both my teams were bottom of the league. I don't blame you for feeling a bit sore about loosing.

Yeah it can suck when your on a losing streak, i tend to get a downward spiral, so i have a break till my "faith in the dice gods" has been restored.
