Simon & Claire

So last night my old friend Simon came over with his girlfriend Claire. I had a great time catching up, exchanging stories (I must tell you about my pc world story) and even playing a couple of games. Laura, cooked us up some gorgeous food which was enjoyed by all.
Simon really wanted to play Risk and he and Claire were having a laugh and a joke about how Simon always wins when they play. We started playing and on my first turn I won. My mission was to take all of Africa and all of North America and I did it in one go. It would have been really funny but to be honest it kind of ruined the game a bit since it was over so quickly.
We then played a game of Age of Mythology (the board game) and before long Simon came in and built his Wonder which ended the game a little early but the game was certainly more enjoyable than the one turn Risk game :-)
I'm seeing Simon & Claire again tonight as they are off on Friday and I won't see them again in a while.
