Good morning all

I say all, when in fact I know full well that a total of zero people read my blog at the moment. I've mentioned it to a couple of people but due to the lack of any comments either on or off the site I'm guessing that they haven't had time to have a look yet.
Anyway, last night I went to see the guy about the mortgage, we passed with flying colours and got "elite" status which means we don't have to prove our earnings for the mortgage application. Reece didn't really need to come which is quite annoying because the whole reason I went there after work was so that Reece could be there as well. Anyway, we have to go back again tonight to finish off and then hopefully while we are on holiday things will proceed nicely.
Later that evening I went to Simon's house - we got a takeaway and watched a movie (swimfan sucks btw) then played some cards.
Just in case Simon reads this, Claire is a top notch girl and you will no doubt make each other very happy.
For anyone who doesn't know Simon and Claire, they started dating early on at university and survived the seperation of him spending a year in America and her spending a year in some other far-flung country (the name of which evades me right now). I have no doubt that they will end up getting married one day and I wish them all the luck in the world - as I said, they will make each other very happy :-)
