Wil Wheaton

I think most people already know but Wil Wheaton who played Wesley Crusher in Star Trek has a website (www.wilwheaton.net) where he has a blog. In fact, reading Wil's blog was the reason that I started this blog.
Anyway, I bought Wil Wheaton's books (dancing barefoot and just a geek) a few days ago and I'm here to tell you that they are a really good read.
Dancing Barefoot is a short book with five stories from Wil's life. It only took me about an hour or two to read it all but it is well worth it. Just a Geek is longer - it probably is still quite short since I finished it in just a few days. It tells the story of Wil struggling to find acting work after Star Trek and how he started his website and where he went from there. I dont want to give away too many details because I highly recommend buying this book even if you have never watched Star Trek. There are many touching moments in this book and the ending is perfect.
I would suggest reading Dancing Barefoot first even though Just a Geek is a more complete book.
I am definitely looking forward to Wil's third book which he is writing at the moment.

Wallpapering

Just wanted to say a big thankyou to my mum who came over last night and wallpapered our wc. I couldnt have done it without you mum!

Good news on the horizon?

So it looks like there's some good news coming. It means big changes for the website and I hope it will expand the amount of people reading the site, as well as expand the amount of content on the site. Also there should hopefully be a fresh stream of new content rather than the almost fixed content that I host at the moment. It's all very exciting and I dont want to give too much away at this point (especially as it could take a while to get this up and running) but I just wanted to let you know that something good is coming :-)

Down time

I just thought I had best apologise for the current down time.
My blog will return at some date in the future but I cant seem to find the time to post at the moment. Also I was finding it hard to post anything interesting so I need to think about how I can make my blog more appealing.
