Good customer service?

It seems not a week can go by without me complaining about bad customer service. It's everywhere - be it moving house, mobile phones or that sofa that we still haven't received after nearly four months...
Today I had a little accident with our Dyson. With the prospect of £200 for a new one I gave Dyson a ring just in case there was anything they could do. One short phone call later and they are sending out a replacement for the bit of the hoover that I broke.
No proof of ownership required, just friendly service and a quick resolution.
Maybe the world isn't doomed :-)

Who'd have thought it?

Thanks to Gubble for pointing this out:

Our old landlord from when we used to live on Archibald Street in Bradford (Mr Jamshed Khan) is up for investigation.
He is currently a conservative councillor in Bradford and it looks like he might have been doing one or two dodgy things...

You can read about it in full here:

Problems?

The new section on my website is called "Columns" and is available in the links on the left hand side. If you can't see it then try refreshing your browser or clearing any temporary internet files.
Hope this clears up any problems :-)

New section on website

I have opened up a new section on my website with the help of my Grandad.
The new section is for anyone to contribute by writing about themselves or people they know or things they are interested in or anything else.
If you want to write a column in my new "columns" section then just email me and let me know.
In the meantime please enjoy the beginnings of my Grandad's section.

Quick website update

I've uploaded some new pictures. Theres a few from the digital cameras and some that I have scanned in. Some of the scans have a bit of glare on them so hopefully I'll get them scanned in again some time.
There are pictures from Dawn's 40th, Xmas 2000, our holiday in Greece, from back when I was at school and some other random pics.
Hope you enjoy :-)
