Website update
So I've finally got round to uploading a bit of a backlog of pictures. Time restraints mean that I've had to bundle them all onto one page rather than seperating them out as I would have liked so I think there's over 150 photos on there...
By way of explanation of what some of them are:
The first few pictures are the morning before leaving for amsterdam/the holiday in amsterdam. I didnt take that many pictures this time but theres a few there.
The next ones are of Anya playing in the garden or should I say digging up the garden.
After that there is a night out for Olly's birthday (although there are no actual pictures of Olly) - Steven was over with Laura so most of the pictures are of them or of me and Laura.
The next big batch are of our holiday in Jura. We start with my birthday (and my cool birthday cake), move to the beach, the pub and the cottage and then I take you on my travels into a little-known bay behind the cottage we stayed in. I really like that bay - you get the impression that only a handful of people have ever been there and its a really nice little place. It's a nightmare to actually get to and I dont think my photos really do the journey justice but if you look at photo DSCF0747.JPG and you see those rocks in the top left hand corner (which look a bit too green to be rocks), that is where I am stood from DSCF0752 to DSCF0757. DSCF0758 is a picture of those rocks close up just before I climbed on top of them. After that I spotted a heard of cows (althogh only 2 were cows - the rest were calves (or calfs???)) and they didnt look impressed when I went in for a closer look. I was a little concerned that they might charge me to protect their young but I braved on and got some close up pics of them.
The last four pics are of Anya asleep in our living room - she just got tired, curled up into a ball and fell asleep :-)
At the bottom of that page there are also some movie clips that I shot with my digital camera. They aren't the best quality ever but they aren't very big so they shouldnt take too long to download and watch.
Moving on, there have been a few comments on my forum about the whole weight loss thing. Basically neither of us have actually done any weight loss yet really so we still havent kicked off the forfeits. There's a week and a half til the next deadline so watch this space for more updates.

Hi Bren.
You seem to like the same things as me when you go to Jura. I have got the photo of the cow and calves up on my Desk top as Wall Paper,I think it is smashing_ takes me back a few years!!
I suppose it wasn't far from where you took the photo that you found that antler that you gave to me when we all went together to Ardfernal. I havn't looked through all the photo's yet, thought that I might be able to look at them like a slide show, but it didn't work.
Be in touch later.
love from grandad
PS
Also love to Laura & Anya.
Hope Anya inherits a love of the country side like we have.
Love from him again
