Eating my words

I remember a while back when petrol first went over £1 per litre. There was a total uproar and it quickly went back down under £1 per litre.
With the recent rises in fuel prices we quickly saw it approach the £1 mark again and soon enough it was more like £1.10 per litre. At that point I clearly stated that it would never again drop below £1. I always said that there was a kind of stigma attached to that £1 mark and now that they'd gotten away with going over without an uproar, they'd never go back down.
I filled up today at Asda for 92.9p per litre.....
